Why this German Shepard?

I have a three year old very obedient German Shepard. He never strays and I totally trust to be left off the leash while playing outside. This morning we were playing in a field by ourselves, and all of a sudden he took off running! He was out of my sight so quick. He has never left me, he is always right by my side. It took about 30 min for my kids and I to find him. He was just strolling by the lake by himself without a care in the world. I was so scared and upset. Why do you think he left me? Im constantly tripping over this dog in my home cause he follows me everywhere. Im confused

Will cartoon network get sued?

Me and my friend were watching a couple of cartoons like MAD regular show adventure time etc.We are concerned that if kids watch these shows there going to see bad stuff.Like they say crap screw and they said in MAD the f word but they blocked it out.And they showed a parody of jersey thor and they showed big breasts bouncing like crazy!So what do you think about this situations.

Why does my dog try to attack me?

our family keeps him on a very long runner because of the neighborhood traffic and generally he is a good smart dog hes a German Shepard and every time i go out to see him he is fine when i walk within his reach but when i go to pet him he snarls his lips and barks like hes crazy. i have had one instance where he broke his chain and successfully and kindly let me put a leash on him pet him on the head and back and bring him back home. i just dont understand i dont have a fear of him until after he freaks out so why does he?

German Shepard - HELP!!?

Hi! I am looking to purchase a German Shepard, as I love the breed. I have a family with 3 young children and want a dog who will be good with them as well as protect my family as a guard dog. I am scared, however, about the health concerns that surround the dogs. Does anyone have advice from owning a Shepard? How often do they get sick? What diseases have they gotten? Etc. All advice welcome & wanted!!

Help! My dog is afraid of other dogs?

I have a female german shepard who is terrified of others dogs. When she was a puppy a rather large pitbull/staffy came up to her and tried to attack her, so we think that's why she is afraid of other dogs. However her fear comes across as aggressiveness and we have had a few complaints. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to help her?
