Why do you prefer the city of Rio de Janeiro that the city of S�o Paulo, what are the differences?

If you're familiar with American cities, think of Rio de Janeiro as the Miami of the country. It is a beach city, a cultural hot-spot with a lively night and relaxing days, definitely a place for a vacation with friends, to relax, or to party. Sao Paulo is more of a tourist city, a real business landmark with a lot happening all the time. Don't go if you're not really interesting in the non-dance and women side of Brazil's culture. Sao Paulo is more like Washingtion D.C.
