How much money should i take to brasil for 6 month stay?

im thinking of going in 3 years and visiting all its major cities like Floripa, Balne�rio Cambori�, Rio, Sao Paulo etc. since the Mexican Peso changes too much how much in American Dollars. i think ill also rent a car. i need to know so i can load up hours of work and have my dream come true
